But it seems that Madonna isn't taking any notice of her critics as she proudly posted an Instagram picture of herself from behind on Wednesday, wearing one of her most revealing outfits.
The 54-year-old, who told her followers that she was in the middle of editing footage of all her live shows, was clearly proud of her figure as she uploaded it onto the picture sharing site.

From the unflattering angle, the singer shows off her super toned legs which are covered with fishnet tights, with her bottom clearly visible.
One of her more racy on-stage outfits, the Express Yourself singer wears a black sheer bra, with embellishment around the cups and a skintight bustier.

Madonna's MDNA tour, which finished at the end of December last year, had mixed reviews but smashed box office records.

And the performer obviously wants to create an experience for her fans to take home with them and is putting her director skills to good use as she edits the footage herself.
Getting into the swing of her new Instagram account, which she only joined recently, the star posted a very different photo just a few days before.
Clearly in a humourous mood, the Vogue singer wrapped the tassels from her cat-ear hat around her face, making them into a moustache.
Paired with dark sunglasses and with the collar of her coat pulled up high, the star as eccentric as usual.
The mother-of-four, who has already clocked up over 116,000 followers in just a few days, also tweeted a picture of her 'favourite' artist Frida Kahlo, as well as some more snaps of herself.
The star has a romantic Valentine's Day planned with toyboy lover Brahim Zaibat, according to reports.
Speaking after modelling at the Jeremy Scott Fall 2013 fashion show at New York Fashion Week he told ET Online:
'Valentine's Day for me is every day. There is no one day for love. If you love, it's every day.'
He then admitted that they would be doing something romantic on the day 'like everybody else.
