He was applauded by fans worldwide when he announced that he would be donating his Paris St Germain salary to a local children's charity.
But despite his incredible gesture, when it comes to where he stays while in the city, David Beckham will settle for nothing less than the best.
The footballer is staying in the £15,000-a-night luxurious Imperial Suite at Le Bristol hotel, located on the Faubourg Saint Honoré in the centre of town.

The stunning 3,475 sq ft suite is the largest at the hotel and can house up to twelve guests, so will be the perfect home away from home for David, Victoria and their four children, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.
Complete with various bedrooms, a dining area and sitting room, the main bedroom also its own sitting room as well as a large dressing room - the perfect spot for fashion designer Posh to choose her outfit for the day - and a 325 sq ft bathroom.
But such luxury certainly doesn't come cheap, with a night in the suite costing €17,000 (£14,638).

However, it is believed that David's room will be paid for thanks to the team's strong ties with the hotel.
As well as the stunning luxury inside the hotel, its location means that it's the perfect spot from which Victoria can hit all the designer shops.

And when the mother-of-four and her footballer beau work up an appetite, they can dine on treats from the in-house hotel chef Eric Brechon - including his trademark pot au feu with black truffles.
Meanwhile, David's arrival in Paris has been heralded with a puppet version of the footballer making its debut on popular French satirical TV show Les Guignols de l'info.
The puppet, which spoke a mixture of French and English with a heavy English accent, took centre stage in the 10-minute show aired on Wednesday night.
Other familiar faces to have been immortalised on the show include Nicolas Sarkozy and the French First Lady Valérie Trierweiler.
