Bogart’s becomes Dogg house

The musician was scheduled to perform at 8, but despite starting about two hours late, fans seemed to have enjoyed the show.

"Snoop Dogg coming is huge. There are other artists thinking that, 'we'll go to New Orleans or Atlanta. We might even go to Memphis,' but Jackson, that's not a typical place you'd think of a big name. Snoop Dogg coming, it's a really really big deal," said Christopher Garner.
Snoop performing was also unique because the show was announced only two weeks ago.
Snoop Dogg has roots in Mississippi. His mother was born in McComb, and his father is from Magnolia.
