Pulling off the often unforgiving legwear, the mother-of-two looked exceptionally glamorous at the exclusive party held to celebrate British film and the EE Rising Star Nominees, ahead of the 2014 EE British Academy Film Awards which will take place on Sunday 16 February.  #Lilyallen

Taking her look from casual to almost vampy she wore heavy smoky eye make-up and grey pointy heels. 

Adding an injection of colour she carried a large blue leather handbag, while around her neck she wore a number of gold necklaces – harking back to her earlier days.

She was later spotted leaving the Groucho Club in the same outfit, while showing off her chic up 'do.

Lily was joined at the event by a whole host of stars who got to sip on Champagne Taittinger Brut Réserve NV while listening to Neneh Cherry DJ. 

Actress Samantha Barks went against the gran and opted for a stubbing, white lace dress and bare legs, which she teamed with a pair of simple high heels.

The 23-year-old was seen posing alongside Pixie Lott's beau, Oliver Cheshire, who stepped out in a dapper suit and bright blue jumper.

While presenter Lisa Snowdon certainly made an entrance in her slim-fitting monochrome dress, featuring a stunning, strapless design.

She had tweeted earlier in the day to say: 'Look and feel 10yrs younger all thanks to @Skinesis,  what a facial!! Thank you to you and your wonderful products and hands.'

Food came in the form of delicious canapés including Bocconcini and baby vine tomatoes on Parmesan cracker (v), Rare seared beef fillet with horseradish crouton and Oriental barbecue duck with pink pepper shortbread.

Not surprisingly a number of the actors who are up for the Rising Star award attended – including Will Poulter.

Will will go up against Lupita Nyong'o, Lea Seydoux and fellow Brit George MacKay - who had his big break starring alongside Clive Owen in The Boys Are Back .

Rounding off the nominations is American star Dane DeHaan, who recently appeared opposite Daniel Radcliffe in Kill Your Darlings.

The nominees were selected by a group of jurors including actress Gemma Arterton, deputy chair of Bafta's film committee Pippa Harris and film critic Mark Kermode, and the winners will be selected by a public vote.

But on Wednesday Lily Allen put the drama behind her as she attended the EE and Esquire Pre-BAFTA party held at The Savoy Hotel.

And the 28-year-old, who was perhaps keen to show she’s far from overweight, slipped into a pair of leggings and a sheer top featuring flattering horizontal stripes.
