Charting a new course: Selena Gomez posted an Instagram snap of her in a boat on Monday with a message thanking fans for their 'unconditional love and cyber hugs' during the difficult recent months for the star
'I've done everything I could to the best of my ability,' she wrote. 'Thank you for the unconditional love and cyber hugs. You inspire me.'
The brunette looked relaxed as she smiled at the camera. It's not clear where the photo was taken, but according to TMZ the shot is six months old.
That's a good thing considering she's holding a glass of red wine, which could be considered a no-no after her January rehab stint which the site claimed was for marijuana and Ambien.
However, her representative told MailOnline: 'Selena voluntarily spent time at Meadows but NOT for substance abuse.'

Things are on the up and up for Selena Gomez.
On Monday, just about one month after leaving rehab, the Wizards Of Waverly Place actress shared a photo on Instagram where she looks happy.
In her caption the 21-year-old thanked her fans for their support during what has been a difficult few months for the young pop star.
